Harishchandragad Trek
Namaskar Trekkers...!!!!
Date - Saturday & Sunday, 01st & 02nd February 2025.Harishchandragad is a historical hill fort situated in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The Harishchandragad trek, a popular trekking destination in the Sahyadri range of Maharashtra, offers several routes, each providing a unique experience. Two challenging routes are Makadnal (Monkey Valley) and Nalichi Vaat (Pass of the Gorge).
The Makadnal route involves trekking through dense forested valleys with rocky patches and steep inclines. It is called "Monkey Valley" due to the occasional sightings of monkeys and the challenging nature of the terrain. The trek requires careful navigation and is best suited for experienced trekkers. This route offers a serene and raw nature experience, with lush greenery and dramatic landscapes.
Nalichi Vaat is one of the toughest and most thrilling routes to Harishchandragad. The trek involves scaling steep rock walls, navigating through narrow gorges, and climbing exposed patches.
