Shourya Sahyadri Adventure and Trekker's Team are happy to invite you for “Lingya Ghat Waterfall via Nisnichi vat & Kurdugad Fort” on Sunday, 11th August 2024.
The name of this waterfall is based on the pinnacle seen there which is called Lingya. The pinnacle is been worshipped by the local people. The waterfall is fed by the rains and a nearby stream. The waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and offers scenic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The waterfall is a popular spot for photography, especially during the monsoon season.
The Kurdugad Fort is also known as Vishramgad Fort. It was named after the goddess Krudai Devi whose temple is constructed at the base of the fort. The fort was constructed during the reign of Chhtrapati Shivaji Maharaj with the assistance of Sardar Baji Pasalkar. The Peshawas were in control of the Kurdugad Fort but it lost its importance once the British rule had begun. The fort was later brought in light by Dattoba Pasalkar, a descendant of Baji Pasalkar.

TRANSPORTATION
Pick Up Location
- By Bus for Mumbaikar’s: 10:30 PM (Borivali National Park) – 10th August 2024 (Saturday) (Pickup points will be Highway to Highway as well as we will confirm the Pickup points & Travel Route) PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 15 MINS AT YOUR PICK-UP POINT TO AVOID GETTING LATE.
ARRIVAL
We will be back to Mumbai (Borivali National Park) on or before by 10:30 PM on 11th August Sunday 2024 (Sunday) depending upon traffic conditions.

10:30 PM: In Night, start journey towards Jite Base Village
(Day 1: Sunday 11th August 2024)
- 05:00 AM: Will reach at base village
- 06.30 AM: Tea and Snacks
- 07.00 AM: Start ascending for jungle trek (Via Umbardi gaon trail route)
- 10.00 AM: Reach at top, Enjoy and explore (Lingya Waterfall)
- 11:00 AM: Start descending (Via Kurdugad Fort – Jite gaon trail)
- 03:00 PM: Will reach at base village (Jite)
- 04:00 PM: Have lunch.
- 05:00 PM: Start return journey towards Mumbai.
- 10:00 PM: Approx arrival at Mumbai. (Depending on Traffic)
